‘The relationship with the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce et de Management (ESCEM school of business and management) in France is one of the most significant international partnerships conducted by London Metropolitan Business School. The creation of the dual award structure, initially in Marketing then in Finance and latterly International Business is evidence of our aim to provide a high quality, relevant, international, educational experience for students from across the world. The relationship goes beyond the design and delivery of dual awards. Programmes are supported by research activities in both schools with academic staff regularly contributing to the production of research papers, delivery of lectures and seminars and supervision of postgraduate students in both countries. Teaching quality enhancement is also assured by the multiple academic exchanges between staff across both institutions. I am delighted by the success of the relationship measured not only by the numbers of students who apply to join us but by their determination to succeed and the careers they have launched.’
